CHANNEL STREET BENEFIT RECAP

Yamo was living in the old News Pilot building in San Pedro, but since he is moving out they decided to have a benefit show to raise money for the San Pedro Skatepark Association. I showed up right after Mike Watt played.
I was disappointed I missed him play in his hometown of San Pedro. So we hung outside for a while with Josh & Chris.
Then made our way inside and shot the shit with Ben & Skreech as the next band set up. Once they started to jam it was time to jockey for a position up on the balcony.

Thee Cormans psychodelic surf stomp got the crowd going.

Had a couple brews and hung out with some of the usual lurkers
as Nihilist got ready to rock.

Nihilist got the pit thrashing.

People were going crazy on the dance floor. Everyone had a goodtime while supporting the local scene. Thanks to Yamo, Bill, Andy, Robbie and everyone who donates their time, energy or money to the Channel Street skatepark.
