Exposure 2015 Coverage

Exposure 2015 was a full day of Ladies Skateboarding to say the least. Events started first thing in the morning and went until after dark with the awards ceremony. There was a Bowl, Vert and Street contest for Am and for Pro’s so things had to keep on rolling the whole day. But it was a beautiful day to say the least and the girls came out in droves to participate or enjoy watching some of the best female skateboarders in the world. I’ll leave you with a bunch of my pics as they speak louder than words…

A street division was added this year and some of the best girls came out and dropped a few hammers on the rails, ledges and banks. Now the event is a completely rounded offering for all the girls to participate in. The prize money was great so I am sure they’ll be back again next year.

Overall there was a prize purse totaling $20,000!!! Nice! Additionally, there was $27,000 donated to Survivors of domestic violence which is even better than the prize purse!! About 10 minutes after the awards ceremony and group shot, everyone’s attention turned towards the sky as a very mysterious blue light with a giant aura lit up the sky for 10 – 15 minutes. It turned out to be a missile test (or did it?) per the news, but it was seen north of Los Angeles.
