G-Side Party @ the Pink!

Genocide’s 3rd Annual Party at the Pink 2023 draws Angelenos from all over town. Low Riders, Food, Music, Beer, Skateboarding! This was a hell of a great party!

I really didn’t expect to find this huge rager today! I was expecting a lot smaller… dumb ass me! As I got near the Pink Motel I could see the street were flooded with people and cars along the side walk. I wasn’t even close to where I was hoping to park. So I turned down the nearest street thinking it should be a few hundred feet til something opened up by it was more like a 3/4 mile til I could park my car and skate into the Pink Motel. As I got close to the driveway the Low Rider over flow was out the driveway down the street and around the corner. I knew this was going to be packed!

The beautiful paint jobs and shiny chrome makes for wonderful eye candy and camera candy. I pulled out the photo gun before I even stepped in the parking lot… The main parking lot was loaded with awesome cars and paint jobs! I didn’t stay long as I was really wondering what was going down in the bowl.

The bowl session was strong, the crowd around the bowl was even stronger! It was a little thick for me to get comfortable and shoot some really good pics, so I snapped a few and said hi to my friends. The most notable moment was the guy pictured below trying these backside disasters and finding out why they got that name… Back D to knock out!

The bowl session was going just fine so I wanted to check out the booths and more Cars. The booths were serving food and beverages of all kinda and lots of good merch too like skateboards, t-shirts and sunglasses. I made my way back through all the cars in the main lots to get my ‘Pink Motel’ signage photos and saw the whole hotel room loop also had more classic cars and low riders. It was was more than I thought I was going to see. They are magnificent!! The colors popping off, or the classic low riders styles in the detailing of the upholstery or chromed out engines was truly epic!
