We were looking for something to skate on the way home from the Long Beach ASR. If anyone has been to ASR (or the Trade-Bro as we call it) you know it’s more about industry crap than skateboarding. A buddy turned us on to the HoJo Pool in Fontana and in true pool spirit he gave us good enough directions to find the pool but we definitely had to look. Colby, Mike McIntrye and myself found the spot and had a session. I called our buddy and thanked him for the lead and he told us that SALBA said the pool was filled in with dirt. The footage here of Colby Carter (taken on Sunday 2/3/02) is probably from the last session at the Howard Johnson Pool.
