Samkele Park (Zimbabwe) Fundraiser with Push Project

Just over a week ago we hosted an amazing event to gain exposure for a life-changing initiative that I am currently working on: Samkele Park!

This was such a fun day filled with amazing music and people on the gorgeous Lake Minnetonka! We were honored to have @tapsempire who grew up in an orphanage in Zimbabwe share his incredible talent and voice. He was followed up by a legendary back-to-back DJ set from @jacksonschneider and @caseymcgrath_ as the sun went down. 🕺🏽

We also partnered with 5 artists from Zimbabwe in a silent-auction which included a wide variety of hand-made items with the proceeds going towards Samkele Park! This auction showcased brand new perspectives of skateboarding relating to the other-worldly scenery and wildlife found throughout Zimbabwe. The goal of  Push Project is to display the art of skateboarding in new ways and use the profits to make the sport accessible around the world!
