BASIC Wake & Skate

BASIC Wake & Skate is an exciting new (all-ages) event that features both wakeboarding and skateboarding contests (Pros & Ams), including a special new category: “Best Of Both”- giving recognition to multi-talented athletes.

The skateboarding contest will be held at the amazing Tinnell Memorial Sports Park, which sits next to the water of Lake Havasu. The outdoor skatepark park is the largest in the state of Arizona. It was designed and built last year by California Skateparks. You can check it out on these websites:

The wakeboarding contests will be held on the sparkling blue water of the lake, directly adjacent to the skate park, giving spectators a great view.

In addition to the contests, we are planning on having demos, raffles, and live bands to entertain the competitors and spectators throughout the day. There will also be an official after-party at a bar & grill for the adults.
