Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama May 12, 2024

The Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama, founded in 2004, is the annual charity event hosted by the Skateboard Moms & Sisters of Shred. Our mission for 20 years: empower women through skateboarding and support children in need. This year’s event will benefit Waymakers OC, a nonprofit that supports children and teens rescued from domestic abuse and human trafficking in Orange County, Calif.

Our stoke-centered gathering is noncompetitive and open to all. Each year, we honor a special female skater who has blazed the trail for the rest of us.

Throughout the event, our well-stocked Rockin’ Raffle awards a treasure trove of great prizes while raising money for local children’s charities. The raffle’s Grand Prize is our SHRED WITH THE LEGENDS package, which grants the winner and five lucky friends a day skating with superstars. Past “Shred With The Legends” participants include Steve Caballero, Adrian Demain, Rad Brad Edwards, Eric Grisham, David Hackett, Tony Hawk, Christian Hosoi, Lance Mountain, Steve Olson, Duke Rennie, Jay Smith and Chris Strople.
