Rockstar Energy Open – Day 1

Portland, Oregon (August 23, 2024) – Day One of the Rockstar Energy Open kicked off with the Men’s and Women’s Video Qualifier Series, and the Men’s Park Qualifier, Women’s Street Semi Final in downtown Portland. Fans were treated to a free musical performance by Surf Mesa to round out the day.

Yuro Nagahara 6 years ago I was on a trip with @kama0802 to visit @trueplayers skatepark in Hakuba, Japan. I watched a much younger @yuro_nagahara completely devastate the park. I am so grateful for another opportunity to shoot photos of Yuro at the Rock Star Energy Open in Portland. Check this guy out, he is an insane ripper!

Practice begins tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. with the Men’s Street Semi Final Practice. The first competition will start at 11 a.m. with the Street Shop Challenge.
