San Francisco skatepark design meeting – Thurs. March 9.

Good Afternoon,

I’m writing you on behalf of San Francisco’s Department of Public Works (DPW) and the SoMa West Improvement Project.

As many of you know, over the last several years DPW has been working closely
with the community regarding the design concepts and implementation of
improvements to the SoMa West Area. One of the proposed improvements is a skate
park to be located underneath the Central Freeway. DPW has scheduled a community
meeting for Thursday March 9, 2009 at the LGBT Community Center which is located
at 1800 Market Street (cross st. is Octavia Blvd.). At the meeting we will
update the community on the upcoming SoMa West Project as well as discuss the
proposed skate park. We’ve attached a flyer with more information about the
meeting.
