Skatercon 9 – etnies Skatepark Sept. 30 2023 – Photos

My 1st Skatercon, it was the 9th one, at etnies Skatepark in Lake Forest CA. Weather was a little dicey but it was a dry drive down from Los Angeles… until we parked and it was raining hard by the time we parked the truck. A few minutes later it looked like it was going to let up so we grabbed our gear and rolled into the event. People were still huddling under their canopies from the rain, but it was starting to dry out. The squeegies could be seen in the bowls to dry them faster and get the party back on track.

Once it dried up, the contest got going with the kids in a cradle sticker pasting contest, skull bowl jam, Black bowl Jam… then the rain started up again and everyone made for a tent and/or some food…
