The city does run paid skateboard programs out of some of its parks which include Switch Skateboarding lessons and Switch Skateboarding competitions; http://www.ajax.ca/en/experiencerecreation/resources/SS14_Youth_Skateboard.pdf

10,000 sq ft park designed and built by spectrum skateparks.
