Managment
- County
The first known public concrete skatepark.
A response to kids riding their skateboards in the breezeway of the Visalia Courthouse, Tulare County constructed a 300-foot long , 10 foot wide skateboard track. The horseshoe-shaped track had two 100-foot straightaways with a hundred-foot-long curve between them. It was graded with an eight percent slope and was paved with three inches of concrete. The entire thing cost only $695.10.
