FEATURES:

The Boogie Bowl was designed to provide a challenge to all skaters. The "Big Bowl" is 82' by 40' and provides a pool type ride. The "Boogie Bowl" begins with a snake run, adds a 12' vertical wall, and empties into a 25' diameter bowl. The half pipe drops 15 degrees to bottom and then curves into a 20' diameter bowl. The freestyle area is 30' by 60', with a 6' grade on two sides.

MEMBERSHIP:

Park membership is required to skate at the Boogie Bowl. The $4.00 annual fee includes a personalized, numbered membership card, a park sticker, and you will have your name included on the mailing list to receive the newsletter of special upcoming events. The admission price is $1.00 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. The sessions start every half hour and all required safety gear may be rented in the pro shop for 25 cents per item. The track supervisor will inspect all skateboards and private safety equipment and place a safety mark on each one to ensure against faulty equipment.

FACILITIES:

The Boogie Bowl pro shop carries a quality selection of skateboard and safety equipment. Each Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, beginner group lessons are given. Private lessons are also available. A safety clinic is held the first and third Saturday of each month, starting at 10 a.m. The Boogie Bowl Team is a group o of local talent who will be involved in interpark competition in the Southern California area. Check in the pro shop for demonstration and contest dates and locations.

Next to the pro shop is an air conditioned game arcade with a wide variety of electronic games. There is also a covered patio area with picnic tables and benches and cold drink vending machines for spectators and skaters. Spectators are admitted free of charge.
