Excerpt from the Guide to Western Skateboard Parks ,1978:

FEATURES:
The action here revolves around three runs, ranging from beginner to advanced. The first snake run travels about 90' and ends in a kickturn area. The wave snake run, 350' long, empties into the beginners' bowl about halfway down the course. The bowl is 25' in diameter and 15' deep.
Further down the wave is the super bowl, 30' in diameter and 12' deep. A banked slalom run skirts the length of the park for 200' and then curves around to empty into another bowl, 25' in diameter and 12' deep. A large undeveloped area beside the park is being used for a freestyle area, and will also be used for park expansion in the future.
MEMBERSHIP:
A $3.00 annual membership is required to skate at the Field House. You will receive a laminated photo ID card, and admission is $2.25 for a two-hour session. On Monday sessions are only $1.75. Sessions start every two hours on the even hour. Safety gear may be rented in the pro shop for 25 cents per unit.
FACILITIES:
A fully stocked pro shop is on the premises featuring many fine lines of skateboarding equipment. Beginners' lessons are offered, and a contest program for amateurs is currently being developed.
The snack bar carries hot dogs, soft drinks, snacks, ice cream, and frozen yogurt. The arcade has about 25 machines, including pinball, foosball, air hockey, air handball, and video machines. A discotheque is also in the park with usually a DJ and occasionally a live band.
