Construction of this park began in March of 1977 and cost over $100,000 to complete.
Built atop a 35 foot high mound of dirt, this park had many of the hallmarks of the pre-vert park era. It included three main sections for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skaters. There was a 10 foot deep surf-style snake run that dumped into a large banked freestyle area, and there was a large mellow bowl on the inside as well, which local Tim Ebaugh said was "forgotten by the serious skaters."
After the first year of operation, locals constructed a wooden vert extension that brought the advanced bowl up to 16 feet of depth, and Skateboarder Magazine published multiple pictures of park locals developing cutting-edge tricks on this wall, such as Mark Lake's trademark flip.
