There were not many boardwalk skateparks in the US in the 1970's, but this was one of them.  Pictures and descriptions of the park are scant, but because Carolina Beach was a Davis and Dobinski design, it was likely a mogul field, similar to all the other parks the firm designed. (Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Paved Wave Easley, All-American Summerville, Banks n' Bowls Winston-Salem, etc.)
