Skate Carnival was a small park consisting of a beginner's run, an advanced run, and a 9' bowl. The park was designed by David Sledge, who at that point had already been a competitive surfer for 12 years. During the urethane boom, Sledge began a skatepark design firm called Concrete Curl.
