Contained within a brick warehouse in an area that was considered underdeveloped at the time, LISA was the second attempt at an indoor wooden park in Long Island within one year.
Upon entry, the freestyle area was to the left, a staircase was straight ahead that said “observation deck this way.” The main feature was a 35 foot, 12 foot deep wooden bowl made of polished maple that the skater entered from a starting gate ramp.
The park was run by Nick Pappalardo Sr.
