One of the first ten skateparks of the 70's, and the first Texas park.
Loosely interpreting a design provided by Skatepark Constructors, Holly Hills utilized a formula that became a de facto standard among first generation parks: the "beginner, advanced, expert" layout. This meant it had three main runs of increasing size and difficulty, but none was especially huge.
Unlike snake run-style parks of the era, Holly Hills' central takeoff point was more or less just a large paved mound which allowed free movement in many directions.
