USA Skateboard Park - Irving TX

This park began as a more first-generation style park which Skateboarder Magazine (Vol 4 issue 3) said had the hallmarks of "Paved Wave" style design.  In other words, it had a single main run that got most of the attention. The run dropped down a 19 foot high hill into a single huge curve, then into smaller banks. It also included a 7-foot deep figure eight bowl and a freestyle area.

Within a year, however, the park was upgraded into the second generation style, and added a pool with tile and coping known as the "Tejas pool."
