Everett Skatepark was a short-lived phase of a building that went through rapid-fire changes in the late 70's.
The site began as a roller rink called Skateland and later Rollerfair. The venue was also used to host events such as live music and professional wrestling. In 1976, the owners moved the business to a new location called Everett Skate Deck, and the Rollerfair building became a nightclub called "Great American."
Bill and Rick Swecker bought the space and opened the skatepark, which utilized both wood and lexan ramps.
In approximately one year, the space was sold again and it became an athletic/fitness club.
