Ice Palace turned into Fiberglass skatepark
Housed in the former Great Bay Ice Arena, Great Bay was one of the multitude of indoor parks utilizing ISR's prefab fiberglass ramps. The half million dollar arena was purchased by Louis Georgopoulos, owner of the Famous Ski Togs ski shops and the Wizard skatepark in Hooksett NH.
From the park's promotional flyer:
Great Bay Arena is completely enclosed in an all-weather facility with ample parking in the front of the building.
Featuring:
24 by 30 ft. banked freestyle area
15 foot ramp into giant bowl, down 3 bumps and vertical wall for 100 feet
12 foot wide half pipe
22 foot pipe
smooth freestyle area
