A fiberglass park that moved no fewer than five times
Ride the Glass made its first appearance in the summer of 1977 at the Ridgedale Shopping Center in Minnetonka, then it was moved to the fairgrounds for three weeks at the popular Minnesota State Fair. Following the initial launch, the park moved between two locations in Eden Prairie for winter and summer. In the winter, it was located inside the warehouse on Hamilton Road, and in the summer it was outside at the Eden Prairie Shopping Center.
The park might have been the largest assemblage of ISR modular ramps outside of Florida. With 165 pieces, it included the slalom track, freestyle area, vert ramp, "the bowl" pump track run, and two 22-foot fullpipes.
