Renamed "Oceanside Inc." after one year
Located behind the famous Cinema 70, Surfdom's Get Around was the second park built in Colorado Springs. It had three bowls, a snake run, and a banked freestyle area as well as a 1900-square foot arcade, pro shop, and concession stand.
The park was put up for sale just six months after it opened, and it was purchased by John C Albertson and Linda Tonge. The duo had the official re-opening in July 1979 and the park was rebranded "Oceanside Inc." In this iteration, the park was presented as a hybrid BMX track/Skatepark.
