Mike McGills Skatepark - Carlsbad CA

This was legendary skateboard pioneer Mike McGill who invented the McTwist and dominated vertical skateboarding contests for many years. This skatepark was built on top of the Legendary Carlsbad Skatepark built in 1976, the first in California.  Some of the banks from the original park were hittable and fun. There were many miniramps connected via hips, spines, and gaps. It played host to many am contests for (NSA/CASL ?).
