RIP: Opened in 2002, Closed??
Skater Built, Skater Owned, Skater Run. Home of the well-known 69 Bowl. 6' shallow end that waterfalls 3' into a 9' bowl with 1' of vert. The transition from shallow to deep has a hip on one side and a nipple on the other. The professionally built street course is bi-level and fast with big quarters, banks, vert walls, pyramids and many rails and ledges. 4' mini ramp. Future plans include a kids street course and foam pit for the little'ns. Look at the website for times and prices. Definitely worth the stop.
Skatepark of Austin Street Course
Our street course was designed by Jamie Curtis, Jason Spears, Doug King, Jon Aultman and David Reynolds. It has been a work in progress for three years now. We believe constantly, but slowly changing the course will always keep it fresh for you guys. Please enjoy our clean park and look out for our next insane creation!
Next scheduled changes: New pyramid on lower left of course! You have never seen such an idea. I hope it works. New rails and ledges on upper left hand corner of street course. Estimated completion date is Holiday 2005.
69 Bowl
The infamous 69 Bowl. 6' to 9' with a 3' waterfall. Ride the "rattler" and jump the titty. Come skate the smoothest bowl you will ever ride! Designed by Jason Spears and Brad Baxter it is a true masterpiece. A creative mind, lots of carpentry skills and Autocad on the computer can do a lot for designing the ultimate bowl!
