A few details for visitors:
-Try to come on a weekday. AVOID if possible Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, especially if the weather is nice. The park will be filled with everything from scooters to football players ruining your visit. It is important to have time and space to work out the million lines this park has to offer. Evening sessions are often good, but the lights have to work.
-Be ready for pebbles, sand, broken glass, urine, burnt garbage, vomit, etc. at any time. The local city guys clean out the bowls pretty well, but the park gets vandalized by all kinds of parasites on a regular basis. If the skateshop (XOXO) in front of the park is open, try to borrow a broom if you need one.
-Keep your valuables like phone, camera etc close to you all the time.
