Directions
Take Highway 22 from the City of San Juan towards the West. Continue on Highway 2 and get off on the Aguadilla City exit (about one and a half hours from San Juan). This coastal town happens to have some of the best surf on the Island and is home to the legendary breaks of Wilderness, Gas Chambers, and Bridges Beach. The skatepark is actually two blocks south of Bridges Beach. Ask any town local for the skatepark and they should be able to point the way to it (come on, this is Latin America... Street addresses? We don't need no stinking street address....).

Mid-Size above-ground outdoors public (free) skatepark made out of
skatelite material. Good design, well built, with over 12,000 square feet of available
space. Lots of street terrain and a nice 6 ft mini ramp. Try not to go on the middle of
the day, the heat will kill you and there is hardly no shade... Local crew, but
light-hearted and no localist. Good parking area where you can see your car... (make
sure you lock it anyway). Lights for night skating. Food options nearby, but no
pro-shop. I rate it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. Don't know who designed or built this one
either... Look for a new 1.7 million in-ground concrete public skatepark to be completed
in the summer of 2006 near the golf course at the old Ramey Air Force base site in this
town. Designed by legendary old school skater Roberto (Boligoma) Cortez...

This is now a concrete street plaza with a variety of ledges, banks and quarters. No real transition to speak of and no roundwall. It is located on the circle near the ice rink.

This park is totally different now. All ramps were torn down and a brand new concrete park has been built in the same spot with design help from Puerto Rico's own Manny Santiago! The new park is nice and built well! Huge thanks to Manny Santiago for his dedication to the Puerto Rico Skate scene! Manny Slays all!
