Peebles Skatepark

My new local skatepark. I love a faux red brick bank and the hubba and handrail are nice and low. There's a fun taco boob combo and a decent bank with extension also.

My only gripe is the curb/manny pad ends into a small bank. I don't really fancy having to land all my tricks into a bank. Perhaps this feature should be where the taco boob is.

The highlight of the park is probably the bowl. The lower end can be used as a traditional mini ramp and you also have the taller bowled end. Think I'm going to have to learn how to skate transition to make the most of this park.

All in all not a bad park to have as your local. There's only about 5 proper skateparks in all of the Scottish Borders so having this one a 15 minute drive away is pretty good going. - cementurians 2024
