Location
From Tucson (or any point south): Take I-10 northbound to exit 226. At the end of the ramp, turn left. After 2/10 of a mile, bear right; continue 2/10 of a mile, and turn left onto Sasco Road. After 2/10 mile, Sasco Road makes an abrupt left hand turn. After another 2/10 mile, Sasco Road makes another abrupt right hand turn. The community center parking lot (and skatepark) will be on the left hand side of Sasco Road another 2/10 of a mile after the turn.
The Anthem Red Rock Skatepark is defined by it's large, amoeba-shaped bowl that ranges between 6' to 8' deep (or so), with several hips, extensions, and oververt pockets. Outside the bowl, there are a few street elements scattered around... a couple of pump bumps, a nipple, a curved box, and a standard box... with some elements incorporated into the deck of the bowl itself. This skatepark, "officially speaking", is only open to residents and guests of the nearby residential neighborhood and/or the city of Red Rock. However, this is a very difficult rule to enforce; out-of-towners regularly make the trek from Tucson or Phoenix to skate it, and have no problems at all. There is supposed to be an attendant on site, but I've never seen one there; there are also supposed to be "scheduled hours", but I've never seen it closed. -Bud Stratford, Everything Skateboarding/Concrete Disciples, February 2018 The Anthem Red Rock skatepark has some of the best transition in Arizona - it's 12,000 square feet of all flow with roll-ins, extensions, and oververt.
