Glasgow Skate Park - Newark, Delaware, USA

Decent sized park with 2 bowls and a street area. The pool-style bowl has pool coping, steep transitions in the shallow and a deathbox. It also has a loveseat in the deepend. Biggest issue is that it is built too deep (below the water table) so it almost always leaks. You can dry it with some towels and get maybe an hour before it is too wet to skate again. It is occasionally fully dry in the summer if it hasn't rained too much. If you find it dry it is a pretty good bowl (although be warned the loveseat bump extends all the way down so it is a bit dangerous to carve under). The 2nd bowl remains dry but it is much more wide open and has metal coping - possibly built with bikes in mind. It also has a weird punchout in the wall - kinda like a deathbox but much larger and about a foot off the coping. If the bowl didn't leak I'd probably give this 4 stars but with a leaky bowl it only gets 1.

Pretty good park overall in my opinion. It has some good banks and good stairs for street skating, and it also has two pretty decent bowls for vert skating and nice quarter-pipe. However the downside is the BMX bikers if you are a skateboarder, the park is a decent size park but combined with skateboarders, scooter kids(theres a few but not as bad as some other parks) and BMX bikers the park gets kinda congested. Overall its a pretty good park built for skaters by skaters.
