3/6/2009 Super flow park one of the best Site designed parks. The bowl is super fast no two walls have the same transition this place is creating some great locals. -Phil R.

The Park is complete and opened on September 2, 2006. Bikes are not allowed. Operated by the Northbrook Park District. It took us 8 years to get a park.....enjoy! - Jan

This skatepark has great places to drop in and carve. The park flows very well and has options to connect different bowls. There are beginner lines as well as endless options for advanced skaters. The coping is metal and sticks out different amounts at different parts of the park. Even though the park is around 10 years old, it is in great shape.
The area is great too, Northbrook is a safe town and towns nearby have skateparks too, but not ones that are better than this. The park is very close to the Northbrook Train Station so it can be easily accessed from Chicago.
In the summer the Northbrook Park District has great lessons for beginners at the Techny park.
There are a variety of personalities of skaters, bmx, and scooters, so if you don't fancy group when you go, try a different day or time.

I love this park its great, great transition always something new to find when you're skating it as far as a line goes.

This is the best skatepark for bowls in the chicagoland area. The transistions are smooth, some are very mellow for begginers, and some are really aggressive for advanced skaters. Its a wonderful range for all skill levels. Anyone who complains about this place not being good is invalid on all accounts. If you want smooth approachable transitions there is no better park in this area. Period.

It's an okay park...but we really need someone who actually builds skate parks, and NOT roads, to come and build a real skate bowl.
