Kokomo Pipeline - Kokomo, Indiana, U.S.A.

4/18/2008 The City of Kokomos public skatepark (commonly referred to as the Kokomo Pipeline) is a series of bowls that range between 4ft. to roughly 12ft. tall, with most of the bowls hovering in the 5ft.-6ft. range. Every bowl in this park goes to vert- no exceptions. Even the smallest bowls go to vert, which makes the park feel very small and extremely tight- although, it is actually quite large and sprawling.

None of the bowls have any sort of standard shape; every one is essentially an amoeba shape, with corners, crevasses, hips, and spines everywhere. Even the fullpipe has a 90-degree bend in it, with a hip and a corner. Most of the coping is steel, except for two of the largest corners that feature pool coping.

This park is frequented by BMXers. Be careful to look around flying around in the bowls, or you might slam into a flying biker. -Bud Stratford Probably the best park in the midwest!
