Altoona skatepark

This site really needs a negative rating scale. I wasn't even looking for this park but found it on my way to shower at the town pool. I wonder how much the contractor charged for this abomination?? Seriously laughable in every single way, except the local kids have to skate this fucking turd. A Certified piece of suck.

I like this park for beginners, I think they may have repoured the concrete because when I went it felt fine

This is the first time I've been to a park since the 1980s and I was really looking for a place to give my son first experience with banks and vert. I haven't been on a board for years and I have to admit my interest was more on the vert side. So rails, boxes, stairs are really of little interests to me. That said I come from a generation that skated anything we found with a transition covered in pavement, so I really expected more from a park designed to be skated. There did seem to be enough there to stay interested at a number of experience levels but a majority of the park seems like it lacked in design.
