The Ann Arbor City Council approved a construction contract for the skatepark at its July 15 meeting. Construction could begin this month with a target opening date in the spring of 2014.

And absolutely astonishing skate park. Built by skaters for skaters. There’s absolutely something for everyone to do. Whether it’s street or vert, beginner or advanced. Tons of fun lines. Bar far my favorite park I’ve been to yet in Michigan.

Park is sick....probably the dopest park in Michigan or anywhere close. Two huge bowls Andy Mack skates in on the regs when he is here..i watched Tony hawk, Alex Sorgente, Tony Magnusson also tear it up... Ron Allen went off on the tranny section of the park. Has a nice street run set up. Over all a great park.
