Now it's a $100(!) fee for non-residents to get a one-year "card" which you need to skate this park. I've skated free public skateparks all over the country - this is a travesty. I think Northport residents should not be allowed to skate any skatepark - or go to any park in this country for that matter - that's not within the town of Northport. Northport Parks Dept and residents, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Great bowls here but...it used to be $10/day for non-residents to skate, which was bad enough. Today (8/14/17) in response to an email I sent, I received this response for the deputy parks commissioner: "We do not charge daily fees at Veterans Skate Park or Greenlawn Skate Park Facility. As a non-resident each family member has to purchase Non-Resident Recreation ID Card one (1yr.) @ $50.00 per non-resident card to skate at our skate parks thus for both of you total fees due $100.00 for a full year."

So now you have to pay $50 to skate it once! Yo Northport, you're the worst!
