Wounded Knee Four Directions Toby Eagle Bull Memorial Skate Park - Pine Ridge, South Dakota, USA

I know this is supposed to be a work in progress but i feel like starting a little smaller would have helped out these kids more than giving them a giant bowl and not much else. The bowl looked great but the deep end was full of water. Local kids were really nice and friendly, said there is a problem with the drain and it always fills up. Judging by the almost untouched pool coping when i was there (a year and a half after it opened) its too big for the kids starting out or always full of water. Then you have a line of 4'-5' quarters with nothing on the opposite side. There is a carve over door channel /pipe that lets rain and wind carry dirt directly into the park. Street area is a sort of diy ledge bank mish mash. I hope more funds are raised so this park can be finished. Hopefully that drain has been fixed.
