Review Detail
3.0 1I'm a bit biased because I had a hand in getting this park expanded. Orizaba was originally opened in 2012, built by Spohn Ranch. Due to the city's insistence of putting a high, vertical slate fence around the perimeter, this proved to be dangerous and in 2014 with the addition of a horseshoe bank in the back of park that help with the overall flow of the park.
Orizaba is a tiny spot (just over 3000 sq ft.) but popular and well used. A mix of mostly street, with benches, ledges, rail, pads, but has banks and a fun quarter pipe. Good to hit if you are in area and visiting any of the other Long Beach parks, like Cherry or McBride.
