Johnny Romano Memorial Skatepark - Galveston, Texas, U.S.A.

This park is nuts! Not the greatest place for street skating or even for mellow transition riders but in terms of sheer big, burly transition this park is it. The main feature of the park is the cradle with the window in it. You have to go into the over-vert to get past it and a backside approach over is a little bit of a challenge for goofy footers but it is definitely cool. The rest of the park is really fun/gnarly too. Also you're right by the old-town, beach and boardwalk areas so when you're done skating there's plenty of other stuff to do around the park.

the street section is so minimal, and akward. i have never seen anybody rip it, and most of the kids have surf style anyway!
