7/20/2008 Heber City had the right idea, if you are going to build it, do it right and build a big one. Four bowls including a right hand kidney with tile and pool coping, one that flows into a street area and a shallow end type pocket with tile, pool coping and stairs to redirect back around. Said to be opening sometime late July 2008. This is the second California Skateparks project here in Utah and has some more creativity then seen here as of late, last being the Grindline work at South Jordan.

This park allocated the majority of its space and budget on 4 giant bowls. Why do you need 4?! As a result the street section is lacking. There's loads of huge hubba ledges and rails that hardly anyone can skate and not a single flat bar or ledge.

And weirdly there's a mini half bowl with pool coping and stairs? Which is kinda cool but the sort of thing you would add after you had the basic obstacles previously mentioned. - cementurians 2024

One of Utah's best parks
Definitely one of the top two parks in Utah, Heber is big, well designed, and has terrain for all tastes. The street side is inventive, and mixes transitions, banks, and ledges seamlessly. The three big bowls are well-built, and the largest/deepest has beautiful tile and pool coping.

Heber has lights, and is open pretty late (10:30? 11?), so cool off after a hot summer day.

Unfortunately, Heber takes a while to thaw, and we weren't able to get a session in till May this year. Also, they have some weird bike/skate day switching, so get the info before you make the drive.
