Good beginner level skatepark, the updates have added rails and a bit more tranny surfaces, plus some stairs.

WHOW went to this park before construction on a trip, went back to stay a while in VA and BOOM this park is INSANE now. Super awesome the pictures on here do not do justice to the new park, if you are ANYWHERE near this park you should go. Awesome bowl, SICK street, you really couldent ask for more from a park like this!

They have done a nice job on this park - pity they didn't widen the vert ramp though.

Scott D. Eagles Memorial skate park at Veterans Park is finally getting done. The construction progress has been great since it started late summer 2011. A good portion of the street course has been poured, and the transitions in the kidney bowl have been poured as well. It won't be open this December as it was expected to be, but the progress has been good enough for me to believe it will be finished here in the next 2-3 months, early spring 2012 at the latest.
